Nkemdilim Uzo, M.D.

Dr. Uzo earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Obafemi Awolowo University Medical School, Nigeria. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Nassau County Medical Center part of SUNY at Stonybrook.

During her residency, she served on the Residency Review Committee and also won an American College of Physicians (ACP) research award. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with extensive Emergency Medicine experience. She holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support and Basic Life support. She is also certified on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME).

Dr. Uzo is a member of the American Medical Women’s Association and the Florida Medical Association. She serves on Centra Care’s Medical Executive Committee.

She is an active participant in community health events, campaigns and projects.
In her spare time, she enjoys running and volunteering at her church.
