What to do when you or your child is sick at Disney World

examinercomlogoYou planned your trip to Disney World in Florida for months. You even scored the dinner reservation to Be Our Guest. All the Fast Pass+ selections have been made, and you are actually at Disney World enjoying the fruits of your careful planning. Unfortunately, either you or your child gets unexpectedly sick while in one of the parks.

What do you do when you or your child gets sick at Disney World? The first thing you do is head to the First Aid station in the park you are visiting at the time. Each park has its own First Aid station where nurses are on duty to dispense fever reducers, pain relievers, and upset stomach aids, take temperatures, and help in caring for minor scrapes and wounds. Here is a list of the First Aid stations in each Walt Disney World Park.

Florida Hospital Centra Care Walk-In Urgent Care Centers provide free transportation to their clinics, which are open 8:00 AM to midnight, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday. [Read full story]
